If you ask enough questions, everything begins with faith. The Big Bang, the Bible, and all books and ideas. “I simply know it” is the axiom of our universe. For instance, the Bible’s complete truth value (separate from its historical accuracy) is a leap of faith.
And that’s not illogical. Gödel tells us that there exists an unprovably true reality1. Sometimes truth is paradoxical and perceived. I believe: “…there is action in the midst of inaction and inaction in the midst of action”2. Logic breaks on that — you need faith and intuitive understanding to accept this truth3. And we can deepen our paradoxical understanding by shutting up.
